Scary as a storm cloud (or scarier!)

WOW REALLY COOL IDEA

Reminds me of a story my Chemistry teacher once told me.
He lived in England most of his life, and at one point he worked at what was known to be the most haunted house in the country. The pipes had stopped working, so they had called a plumber to come fix them. Now, the house didn’t exactly have a basement; just a crawlspace under the floorboards about three feet tall. The plumber claims to have been going about his business, fixing the pipes, when suddenly appeared a ghostly army of Roman soldiers, their waistlines level with the dirt floor of the crawlspace, marching toward him.
A particular room in the top floor of the house was known to be particularly haunted, and my teacher was not a superstitious man, so of course it was his job to clean it. While on duty that day, he looked out the window and observed as the plumber bolted down the sidewalk at record speed, leaving his parked van in the dust. He didn’t come back to get the van until the next day.
A few months later, excavation was being done very close to the haunted house. It was discovered that a few feet below the soil lay an ancient Roman road, leading in the direction of the house.
